Art Café Bumbu Bali provides an unforgettable culinary, cultural and visual art experience by combining many traditional elements of a Balinese home, and the warm and genuine friendly hospitality of the Balinese People. We are delighted to serve you “only” authentic Balinese cuisine. Two and a half decades of investigating and documenting Balinese cuisine are the foundation in the style of cooking served in Art Cafe Bumbu Bali.

It was in 1996 when we set together with a group of friends talking about work and life in general. The question then come up where to eat delicious Balinese in a safe and comfortable environment. Swiss friends then suggested that myself and my wife Puji should seriously consider to open a Balinese restaurant. At that time I already wrote my first book on Bali’s incredible delicious cuisine and with it the foundation was given.
